About me

I am a statistician and lecturer at the Zürcher Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften (ZHAW) in Winterthur, Switzerland. I hold a Dipl.-Ing. in Technical Mathematics (Statistics & Business Mathematics, TU Wien) and a doctorate in Applied Medical Science (Dr.scient.med., Medical University of Vienna), and I am completing a second doctorate in Technical Mathematics.

My work combines rigorous statistical modelling, Bayesian methods, and machine learning across health research and applied domains — with a strong emphasis on reproducible, well-documented analytical workflows.

In 2026 I co-founded FAIR Press Journals, where I serve as Managing Director (the company is currently being incorporated). FAIR Press Journals is an AI-native, reproducibility-first scholarly publisher: every submission's code and data are re-executed and certified as part of an agentic review pipeline that produces a structured verdict under a named human's sign-off, delivering a first editorial decision in hours to days rather than months. It is open access, leaves copyright with the authors, and applies income-tiered, waivable fees. The first title is the Journal of Reproducible Statistics (JRepStat), which publishes methods, applications, replications and null findings on equal terms — judged on soundness rather than novelty or prestige.
